When you contact us, sign up for alerts, sign an NDA, use our services or interact with our ads on Meta platforms, we may collect your name, email, phone number, mailing address and business details (for example business name, financial information or ownership details).

Signed agreements

When you sign an NDA on this site, we keep a record of the agreement, the name you typed, the date and time, your IP address and browser details. This is our proof that the agreement was signed. If you upload proof of funds, we store it privately and use it only to confirm you can complete a purchase before we release financial documents.

Non-personal information

Browser type, device information, IP address and how you use the site (pages visited, time on site), collected through cookies, pixels or similar tools, including Meta Pixel, for analytics and advertising.

Business information

For sellers, information about your outfitting business, including financial records and operating details needed to prepare, value or sell it.

Information you send us

Inquiries, feedback, or messages with buyers, sellers or our team.

Advertising data

When you interact with our ads on Meta platforms (for example clicking an ad or submitting a lead form), we may collect your Meta user ID, ad interaction data and preferences.

2. How we use it

To connect buyers and sellers of Canadian outfitting businesses; to help sellers prepare their businesses for sale; to send you documents you've requested; to communicate with you about inquiries; to show relevant ads on Meta and other platforms (with your consent where required); to improve the site and our ads; to send you listing alerts and updates if you've agreed to receive them; and to meet legal obligations or protect our legal rights.

3. Who we share it with

Buyers and sellers

To move a deal forward, we may share relevant business or contact details between buyers and sellers, with your consent.

Service providers

Companies that help us run the site, send email, store documents and run ads. They must protect your information and follow applicable law.

Meta

When you interact with our ads, data may be shared with Meta to deliver and measure ads. Meta's own Data Policy applies.

Legal requirements

If required by law, such as a court order or regulatory request.

Business transfers

If our business is merged, acquired or sold, your information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies, pixels and tracking
